Don't stress. Do Your Best. Forget the Rest

A workshop on Socio-emotional stressmanagement was conducted for the primary wing students. The causes, effects and resilience from stress were discussed with the aid of a Power-Point presentations.The workshop had a positive result as the students left better equipped to tackle their stress effectively


A  workshop was conducted for the classes LKG – V on the theme’ Good and bad touch’.An inspirational movie including the message how to recognise the bad touch and raise voice against it, was shown to the students. A Motivational lecture on the theme ‘ MY BODY SAFETY RULES’ was delivered to make the children aware about sexual abuse and its preventions. Altogether it was a contagious effort to prevent the evil prevailing in the society.



An understanding of the natural world and what’s in it is a source of not only a great curiosity but great fulfillment.

A workshop was conducted by Sony Channel on ‘Feel Alive’ .A BBC documentary of Sir David Attenborough, ‘Blue Planet-II’ was shown which was awe-inspiring. Questions based on the documentary was put forward to the students which they promptly answered and won small gifts. Experiments were also done to show how liquid changes into gaseous form. The students found the workshop very interesting and knowledgeable. It was a workshop worth attending. A Terrarium was presented to the Principal as a token of gratitude.


A workshop on ‘Betadine First Aid’ was held for the students of class IV and V. It commenced with questions answer round, followed by a demonstration on First Aid in which the students were involved. The different steps such as washing or cleaning of the wound, then applying Betadine Solution or cream and tying of the bandage was explained. A sample of ‘Betadine First Aid Solution’ was distributed to the students. It proved to be a very useful and informative workshop in which the students actively participated and found interesting.

Stress Management

‘The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another. The expert in anything was once a beginner. Never do tomorrow, what you can do today. Procrastination is the thief of time.’
Keeping in mind the needs of the students, our young Kapsians of Grade 8 and 9 attended an efficacious workshop on ‘Stress Management during examination’ conducted by Mr. Lucky Puchhrat from Hindustan Times. The workshop aimed to help the students, identify the stressors and effectively deal with it. The session ameliorated the thoughts of students and it proved to be a fruitful and pleasurable conclave for the juveniles.


Mathematics is not about taking things for granted, it’s about finding your own answers yourself, through the application of methods like testing, experimenting, trial and errors and verifications.
Keeping this practical and rational approach in mind the students of class V participated in workshop on ‘Measurement’ where they learnt how to measure different things length, weight, capacity and temperature using different instruments. As a part of the workshop, the students guided by the teacher and also traced the development of metrological instruments through the ages.

Workshop on Career Counseling

With the right support and guidance a child can achieve milestones and become a shining star. Keeping this view KPS organized the annual career counselling workshop for class X students. 
The resource person for the day Ms. Vandana Tandon a career counselling expert from Times of India (TOI) inform the student about the various convectional and upcoming career options. The workshop focused on introducing career options related to all the streams that are being offered in school namely Science, Commerce and Humanities.



Workshop on lung care

A workshop on “Save Your Lungs Dilli” was organized for Kapsians from classes II to VI in collaboration with Cipla in an effort to spread awareness on better lung care. This workshop aimed at creating awareness on pollution and its ill effects on the lung health of children which also included an interactive question hour session for the students.


Workshop on-Internet Security

In an attempt to create awareness about Internet Security a workshop was conducted by energetic Dhruv Jain of class XII A along with co- host Nikhil and Utkarsh of Class XI for the fellow Kapsians.
This Workshop aimed at generating knowledge about Cyber threats and the best preventive strategies to address the growing menace and also promote safe use of Internet


Workshop on Hepatitis-B

A workshop was conducted for students of classes 8 & 9 for spreading awareness about hepatitis by Dr.Nishant Bansal. The workshop aimed at educating the kapsians about the infectious disease and it's cause and effects. Kids learned about the ways to prevent infection of this deadly disease and steps to be taken if someone is identified with the same. The workshop was a great learning experience and an eye opener for kapsians.



Choosing a definite career after class XII is an enormous task to be fulfilled. It all depends upon the right choices made by us. Regular aptitude tests and counseling session conducted by career counselors can help students in choosing the right career options in various fields of their interest. A workshop on the same for class XII for career counseling was conducted in the KPS premises by the resource person Ms. Vandana Tandon from Times of India. She laid stress on testing the three factors – aptitude, interest and personality in order to enhance the competency level of Kapsians while selecting the right field. The innovative workshop provided a guiding light for the students to choose the most apt career for themselves for future prospects.


Career Counselling
To cater to the needs of class 12 students about their future anxieties, workshops were organised by the school. Senior teachers guided the students about their future prospects. Different courses offered by different institutions with course duration were discussed through a Power point Presentation prepared by the teachers of varied streams - Science, Commerce and Humanities. The doubts and queries of students were also taken up by the faculty members


Workshop on the use of Dictionary.....
An interactive workshop on the usage of Dictionary was conducted for the Kapsians of Primary Wing..The workshop aimed at the various aspects of using a dictionary and also it helped the students comprehend new vocabulary words in an effort to enhance their writing skills.Students excitement was quite evident at the end of the workshopIn an attempt to cope up with the examination pressure, a workshop entitled “Stress Management” was conducted for the students of class XI recently which aimed to instill various means and steps to be taken by the young Kapsians for the upcoming examinations so as to achieve academic brilliance. This workshop also aimed at enhancing the students personality for future endeavours.

The Science Project 'Android Controlled Wheel Chair’ made by Utkarsh of class XII has been selected to display at International level by National Innovation Foundation (NIF) India.

Shriyogi Jawas, a class VI student took part in a Taekwondo championship held in Muju, South Korea, bagged three gold and one silver medals in different competitions.
